Exploration of 3D sculptures and traditional fine arts to create an innovative CG illustration, 2019

The purpose of this project was to research traditional sculptures and other areas of fine art in order to explore how digital sculpture can be used to communicate contemporary themes. In this report I also look at how the freedom of the medium can extend the capabilities of sculptures as an art form, previously limited by the constraints of the real world. Both traditional artists and digital artists have been explored in how they are being innovative in developing their own styles / techniques. In this report I also explain the different methods and techniques I used to implement the final artefacts.
