Mowgli TV AKA Manuel J Barrio is a multimedia artist. Classed amongst the top 8 European Vj's at the London International Music Show in 2008, he has provided visuals for artists including Above & Beyond and Emilio Merone and shared stages with legends like Greg Wilson while also playing at music festivals including Shambala, Noisily and The Big Chill. He has been a co-director of VJ London since 2010 and has produced animation for clients including BBC, Nintendo and Coca-Cola.
Mowgli’s audiovisual performances have graced stages at numerous international festivals and venues, includin gBFI, Art Futura, Kinetika Art Fair, Dronica, LPM editions in Rome, Amsterdam and Eindhoven, Lille VJ fest, Sophia Digital Arts, MUV Florence, Medea Electronique Athens, Waterman’s Digital Weekender and Generate Tubingen. Mowgli’s artworks and installations have been exhibited at the V&A and RCA. His collaborative installation Reonion received the Rite of Passage award at Burning Man in 2011. |
